Negotiating Committee Members from the New England UFCW Locals Leaflet Stop & Shop Stores

This afternoon, over twenty members of the UFCW negotiating committees from the New England Locals who are currently engaged in contract negotiations with Stop & Shop visited several of the company’s stores today to hand out flyers to customers.  These flyers reinforced the importance of negotiations not only for our members, but for their families and for the community at large. Our negotiating committee distributed this message to hundreds of Stop & Shop customers over the course of the afternoon. The response from customers was overwhelmingly positive, and served as a reminder that families continue to shop at Stop & Shop because of the dedication and hard work of the UFCW membership.
