I am deeply saddened to notify you that Bonnie Ladin, union organizer, mother, and beloved wife of UFCW International President Joe Hansen, passed away today.  Bonnie dedicated her life to social justice, touching and improving the lives of countless working people.  As a teacher of organizers, her humor, compassion, steely determination, and capacity for inspiration made her beloved among her students.
