ABC

The only way to continue to protect our bonus pay on Sunday, as well as all our other benefits, is to help keep elected officials in office who are worker friendly and to elect new officials who will also be worker friendly.

We are only able to do that because of our Active Ballot Club (ABC) Program. Because of existing laws our only type of support for worker friendly public officials is through payroll deductions from the union membership to a fund specifically designed for political purposes.

Our ABC program has always been successful. If it were not, we would have lost the time plus one half pay on Sunday as well as other benefits which we maintain today. Without the ABC program we would not have the financial support to help our worker friendly candidates get elected and re-elected.

Aside from contributing to ABC, one of the most important ways to get your voice heard is to register to vote and then go out and vote for issues and candidates that support union/labor issues.
