Stewards Conference 2024

Last week, we held our annual Stewards Conference! This year, speakers included President of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO Chrissy Lynch, Retired Massachusetts AFL-CIO President Steve Tolman, Rhode Island AFL-CIO President George Nee and leaders from our UFCW family from across the region. We also held informational workshops that included a presentation from the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office on looking out for scams/fraud, an OSHA safety and healthy training, a presentation from the UFCW National Pension Fund, and a workshop on the stewards role in the workplace. We would like to thank all of the shop stewards at Local 328 for their advocacy, hard work, leadership and commitment each day. As organizers, educators, and problem solvers, and the backbone of our union, you truly make a difference.
