This week’s negotiations between local union leadership, fellow Stop & Shop members, and the Company wrapped yesterday. We presented our counter economic proposals, and your fellow Stop & Shop members testified to the company about the hard work and sacrifices you have made as essential workers during these times.
The subcommittee assigned to address non economics, made up of your co-workers and union, met yesterday on issues affecting our home delivery workers, fair grievance policies, and worker safety. While progress was made, we will continue to make your top priorities clear to the company.
We will meet again on February 2nd and 3rd, where the company is expected to present their counter to our proposals.
