The Truck Drivers of A&K Logistics Ratify First Union Contract and Become the Newest Members of Local 328

On Saturday, June 16th, the hard-working truck drivers of A&K Logistics, based out of Taunton, Massachusetts, ratified their first union contract. These drivers deliver pet food across New England to locations such as Petco and Pet Supplies Plus. They are the first drivers in the nation wide company to unionize and they won their contract by sticking together. Highlights of the contract include wage increases each year of the three year contract, higher starting rates, a cap on co-shares for health insurance, up to 10-hours pay for weather delay, job security, seniority, and a $4,000 ratification bonus for every driver. We are proud to have them as the newest members of our union family!
