UFCW Local 328 Members Employed at Stop & Shop Overwhelmingly Ratify New Four Year Agreement!

We would like to congratulate our union family at Stop & Shop on overwhelmingly ratifying a new four year agreement with a vote of over 98% from members in attendance! Thanks to Stop & Shop workers’ hard work, commitment and solidarity, they secured a new contract that offers:

Immediate wage increases across the board for the entire duration of the contract for all employees with at least 6 months of service
Protected time and a half on Sunday and holidays
Secured pension for full-time and part-time workers for the life of the contract
Affordable and quality healthcare with ZERO increase in members’ weekly contributions during the entire duration of the contract
Improved healthcare/lower deductibles
Improved dental benefit still at no cost for part-time & full time-workers
Protected vision benefit still at no cost for part-time & full-time workers
Increased starting rates
Increased Classification Rates
Higher wages delivered faster with a reduced scale for full-time workers
Increased pharmacy technician rates
Relief pay for Deli & Night Crew
New classification of an Online Shopping Lead
Appreciation bonus for part-time and full-time workers
Protection for home delivery drivers with no layoffs due to third party vendors
Increased guaranteed hours for long-term part-time workers
