Women’s Institute for Leadership Development 29th Annual Summer Program
On June 19, 20 and 21st a diverse group of women will come together for an inspirational education program that provides them with the confidence and vision to become effective leaders in their unions, workplaces and community organizations.
Join us to cultivate a vision of leadership for yourself and learn skills that include Public Speaking, Asserting your Rights in your Workplace, Bargaining for All, Immigration Reform, and using the Unspoken Word in Organizing and Activism, to name just a few of the workshops available.
The program begins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday June 19th and ends at 2:00 on June 21st, and will be held at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. The address is 300 Massachusetts Avenue, Amherst, MA, 01003.
Childcare is available for children ages two through twelve only with pre-registration.
