Brothers & Sisters of Local 328:

What is the Women’s Network? You may have heard that the Women’s Network is an important part of the UFCW, however, what is it that the Network does for its membership? I have tried to understand how the Network fits into the UFCW and now I believe that I have found the answer.

As the women of Local 328 we should ban together as a group, whether in the union or within our communities to promote women’s issues and encourage our sisters to join in the labor movement.

Women represent over 53% of the work force in this country. We are the silent majority; and the time has come for women of the UFCW to be heard. Won’t you be a part of our voice? A women’s strength is immeasurable, I believe that with the Women’s Network, we as a group, can make a change for the better.
