Stop & Shop Negotiations Update 4/5/16

Good evening brothers and sisters,

We just concluded our most recent round of bargaining with your employer Stop & Shop. I am pleased to let you know that we have been making progress and have tentatively agreed on a couple more issues. We have also made progress in other areas as well with agreement in principle in many areas, but more work needs to be done before we will be satisfied.

Even though we have made progress, we still have more issues that remain open and will stay that way until we can come to an agreement that is suitable to us.

I cannot give you details as to which areas we have agreed to since everything is tentative and subject to change until we reach a final agreement.

We are continuing to meet and will be back with the company tomorrow at 10:00am where we will have further discussions in the area of health and welfare.

We ask for your continued support and patience while we continue to narrow down these issues to the point where we have an agreement.
