UFCW Local 328 Hosts 26th Annual Charitable Golf Tournament to Benefit the March of Dimes

On Monday, June 19th, Local 328 held its 26th annual Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament. UFCW Local 328 partnered with the March of Dimes, a nonprofit organization founded by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1938 that works to improve the health of mothers and babies. With partly cloudy skies, 141 golfers took to Pawtucket Country Club to enjoy a day of golf, followed by a dinner reception with raffle prizes.

We would like to give a special thank you to all of our members, sponsors and all those who participated and volunteered to help make this event so successful. In addition, we would like to offer a special thank you to our shop stewards and members at Stop & Shop who did an amazing job raising charitable funds at the stores. To every customer who donated, we offer our sincere appreciation. Through the dedication and efforts of so many, we were able to raise $65,328 to benefit the March of Dimes.
