UFCW Local 328 Scholarship Application for 2024

Each year, the Local 328 Scholarship Committee awards ten (10) $1,500 Scholarships. This scholarship can only be awarded to an eligible member, spouse, child, or grandchild of a qualified member of either UFCW Local 328 or the Local 328 Retiree’s Club. The person who qualifies the applicant must be an active dues paying member and be in good standing with Local 328 or with the Local 328 Retiree’s Club. Additionally, students must be enrolled full-time in a degree program at any post-secondary college/university or vocational/technical school.

Essay Topic Question: How have Federal Labor Laws changed in the United States during the 21st century depending upon which political party was in power? What changes do you think need to be made to current labor laws to benefit workers?

Winners: :     All winners will be notified by mail no later than June 30, 2024. Winners are required to forward to the union office verification of their Fall 2024 full-time enrollment no later than November 1, 2024. This information can be obtained by contacting your school’s Bursar’s office (typically after the add/drop period has ended). This documentation must be on the school’s official letterhead and must be embossed with the schools official seal.
