Victory! Front of House Workers at the Jamaica Plain Samuel Adams Boston Brewery Vote to Unionize!

On September 22 the front of house workers from Samuel Adams Boston Brewery in Jamaica Plain voted overwhelmingly to unionize with UFCW Local 328. Over the years workers had gone directly to the company over their concerns with safety, pay, and inconsistent policies but saw no improvements which is when they reached out to the UFCW. Whether organizing and promoting their solidarity event or filing into the conference room where their union election ballots were tallied, this group of workers have shown they are tight knit, motivated, and proactive. We look forward to continuing our work with them into contract negotiations and beyond.
